Situated on a sprawling 90-acre campus, the college boasts eight modern brick buildings arranged around a beautiful central courtyard, creating an inviting and inspiring environment for all.

The collaborative venture between W. L. Hall Company, Normandale Facilities Management, and JE Dunn Construction encompassed a comprehensive College Services refurbishment spanning all three floors. Significant transformations were implemented, such as re-imagining the layout of Student Services to establish a streamlined, all-in-one model dedicated to providing exceptional student support.


Classrooms received enhancements tailored to optimize efficiency, with careful consideration given to right-sizing them. Additionally, the project involved:


  • Revamping tiered rooms and constructing dynamic, active learning classrooms.
  • Enhancing the aesthetic appeal.
  • Furnishings.
  • Technological infrastructure

Capitalizing on the project's surplus funds, Facilities Management utilized the opportunity to enhance the facility further. They decided to replace the curtainwalls in the Administration space on the 2nd floor and the radius curtainwalls on the 1st and 3rd floors, offering captivating views of France Avenue.

Additionally, they undertook the task of updating entrances at six different locations within the College Services building and Fine Arts section, further improving the overall aesthetics and functionality of the spaces.

 The undertaking yielded an abundance of student collaboration and study spaces, enriching the facility's primary entrance and overall circulation to create an inviting and conducive environment for all.

Crowe Construction (St. Louis Park) contacted us about replacing the skylights at Artistry on 10th, a modern luxury apartment complex. The existing skylights were extremely leaky, aesthetically unappealing, had poor opacity, and failed to meet current-day structural requirements. They allowed minimal natural light to enter the space, provided little comfort or functionality, and were energy inefficient.
