Two Recent Zona® LYNX Telescopic Glass Wall Projects Showcase Flexible Design
We are pleased to highlight two recently completed ZONA® LYNX telescoping glass wall projects, each tailored to the specific functional demands of its space. Working closely with the architects involved, we helped bring each project's design vision to reality, delivering precision ZONA installations that support flexibility, transparency, and long-term performance across both professional office and high-traffic environments.
Both projects feature 3/8" clear laminated glass with a clear anodized finish, providing a consistent balance of durability, safety, and refined aesthetics.
Below is a brief overview of each project and the unique advantages the ZONA LYNX system brings to each application.
Momentum Design Group – St. Paul, MN
Architect: Momentum Design Group
At Momentum Design's St. Paul headquarters, we brought Momentum Design's conference room concept to life by installing a ZONA® LYNX telescoping glass wall. Designed for ease of use, the system prioritizes flexibility and aesthetics over acoustics in supporting collaborative meetings and presentations.
The installation utilizes 3/8" clear laminated glass with a clear anodized finish, complementing the firm’s clean, design-forward workspace while maintaining a refined architectural presence. To support the system, our team enhanced the existing beam structure by adding plywood to widen the beam and create secure fastening points. These modifications were then wrapped in black aluminum trim, resulting in a seamless, integrated appearance that aligns with the overall design.
ZONA® LYNX Telescopic Advantages for Momentum Design Group
Adaptable conference room functionality, allowing the space to open or close as needed
Full-height glass panels that preserve daylighting and visual connectivity
Clean, modern aesthetics aligned with Momentum Design’s design-forward workspace
Quiet, smooth operation ideal for controlled, lower-use environments.
Mayo Clinic – Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center (Subway Refresh)
Location: Rochester, MN
Architect: BWBR Architects (St. Paul)
As part of the Mayo Clinic Subway refresh at the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center, we helped bring to life the project designs from BWBR Architects by installing two ZONA® LYNX telescoping glass walls—one at the lower level and one at the first-floor level—within high-traffic public areas.
The lower-level installation required careful coordination to accommodate an existing sloped floor, ensuring smooth operation and a clean, integrated finish.
Both systems were designed to handle frequent use without compromising transparency or visual openness in busy environments.
ZONA® LYNX Telescopic Advantages for Mayo Clinic Dan Abraham Subway Refresh
Reliable space separation in high-use, high-traffic environments
Durable system construction designed for frequent operation and long-term use
Acoustic control when closed, helping manage sound in busy public areas
Ease of operation and maintenance, supporting the daily staff and visitor flow.
These projects demonstrate how the ZONA® LYNX telescoping glass wall system can be successfully applied across varying use conditions—from controlled conference rooms to demanding, high-traffic environments—while delivering flexibility, performance, and architectural clarity.
If you’re exploring ways to integrate adaptable glass wall systems into your next project, our experienced team draws on decades of successfully completed projects to support you at every stage—from initial design coordination through final installation.
