As part of Southdale Center’s $400 million luxury renovation, Simon Property Group (Indianapolis) reached out to us to help bring their bold architectural vision to life.

We collaborated with W&W Glass Systems (New York) to deliver and install a stunning array of structural glass solutions that elevate the experience in the new luxury wing.

From two eye-catching canopies of 1" low-iron laminated glass—digitally printed with custom ceramic frit designs from Tvitec in Madrid—to two sleek, all-glass entrances with Stanley automatic sliders and clerestory framing using Oldcastle’s FG-3000MP Series, every element was designed to deliver elegance, performance, and precision.

Our use of SmartLift technology ensured the flawless and safe placement of each panel, reinforcing both safety and visual clarity.

In addition to the luxury wing enhancements, we also replaced the existing skylights in Southdale Center’s main common area with custom-engineered Kalwall translucent panel skylights.

Kalwall was the ideal choice, thanks to its versatility in both flat and curved configurations, which seamlessly aligns with the mall’s architectural character while meeting modern energy codes and daylighting performance standards.

Kalwall’s translucent systems deliver soft, uniform natural light while minimizing glare, heat gain, and UV exposure—creating a more inviting and comfortable experience for visitors.

Even with the main common area space's irregular roof geometry, our design-assist approach and in-house engineering team ensured a precise, weather-tight installation that blends aesthetic impact with long-term performance.

From daylighting and glazing to operable walls and fire-rated systems, we help architects and builders execute designs with precision.

You bring the vision—we’ll deliver the right systems to support it. One conversation can simplify your entire project.

Our role in the construction of the Bloomington Parking Ramp involved supplying and installing the EFCO 5600E curtainwall system on the stair towers. Construction during the winter months often brings unique challenges to a project. That's why close collaboration with our valued partners—Clow Berg Architects (Minneapolis) and Ancoats Construction Management (Minneapolis)—was essential to identifying potential issues early and navigating them successfully as a team.

Operable walls have transformed from functional dividers into aesthetic enhancers of the built environment. On this recent project, we helped the architect balance the need for space flexibility with the desire for the look of a more "permanent" solution. Glass panels with false muntins offer the best of both worlds— the look of a fixed demountable system with the flexibility of operable wall systems.

Due to our "challenging" winter weather conditions, building maintenance professionals frequently schedule glass atrium and curtainwall repair initiatives when spring arrives. Among our current projects in this category are the 1550 Utica Avenue Tower (St. Louis Park), Glass Atrium Roof rehabilitation, and the restoration of curtainwall components at Reflections Condominiums (Bloomington).
