W. L. Hall Co. Offers Space Management Systems

    W. L. Hall Co. offers Modernfold Operable Partitions: Minnesota Operable Walls and Service

    W. L. Hall Co. offers Modernfold operable walls. Modernfold’s operable partitions represent one of the most flexible solutions to making the most of your interior space. With our operable partitions, room sizes can be changed in a matter of moments to control sound and capitalize on the most efficient use of floor space.

Modernfold, a DORMA Group Company, offers manual single/ paired panel or continuously hinged, electric operable wall systems that can transform your space quickly, giving you the ability to open up small rooms into a larger space or vice versa. This is ideal for corporate, hospitality and educational facilities that want multi-functional spaces that can be reconfigured quickly for meetings and events.

Unlike some other operable wall systems, Modernfold operable walls don’t sacrifice aesthetics for functionality. Modernfold’s product line includes a variety of high-end designer finish solutions as well as standard finish options. No matter your needs, Modernfold operable walls will meet BOTH the aesthetic and acoustical demands of your application.

    W. L. Hall Co. offers Skyfold Autolift Wall Systems

Skyfold provides the ultimate in flexible, acoustical space division. Skyfold's electrically operated walls systems extend and retract at the turn of the key to allow one person to quickly and quietly operate the operable in just minutes, no matter what size the wall is.

Although Skyfold is a premium building system, its ease of use means that it gets far more use than conventional, manual operable wall systems. Because Skyfold stores in a narrow pocket in the ceiling (a 10’ high wall stores is less than 24”), it is ideal for both retrofit and new construction. Skyfold also has the advantage of not taking up valuable floor space when the partition is not being used.

The W. L. Hall Company furnishes and installs Skyfold in MN, ND and SD.

Our role in the construction of the Bloomington Parking Ramp involved supplying and installing the EFCO 5600E curtainwall system on the stair towers. ๏ปฟ Construction during the winter months often brings unique challenges to a project. That's why close collaboration with our valued partners—Clow Berg Architects (Minneapolis) and Ancoats Construction Management (Minneapolis)—was essential to identifying potential issues early and navigating them successfully as a team.

Operable walls have transformed from functional dividers into aesthetic enhancers of the built environment. On this recent project, we helped the architect balance the need for space flexibility with the desire for the look of a more "permanent" solution. Glass panels with false muntins offer the best of both worlds— the look of a fixed demountable system with the flexibility of operable wall systems.
